With CV Screen’s IT Jobs index showing that demand for SEO / Online Marketing skills increased by 40% over the last year. At the same time there is upward pressure on salaries with the average salary for an SEO specialist in the UK now just over £30,000.

This means that candidates must understand the benefits of running a company blog and also how sites such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn can be used for business advantage."
In conclusion, Iveson added “Our belief is that the most in demand candidates in 2010 will be those who offer a mix of SEO, Online Marketing and web development skills who have the ability to formulate and implement online strategies in this rapidly expanding area.”
